- Removal of the old lawn, weeds and debris, taken off site
- Soil preparation: rotary hoeing, imported turf underlay where needed, levelling and grading for drainage
- Starter fertiliser and a final rake before laying
- Laying in a brickwork pattern with tight joins, cut cleanly around beds, paths and edges
- Rolling and first water, then a written watering and mowing plan for the establishment period

When to book turf laying Central Coast wide
Turf can be laid year round on the Central Coast, but spring (September to November) and early autumn (March to April) give the fastest establishment with the least watering. Summer laying works if you can commit to daily watering for the first two to three weeks. Winter laying is fine for buffalo, just slower to knit. Turf searches on the coast spike every September for a reason: it is the best month to book.
